Thanks to a bad winter storm, instead of arriving in Baker Lake at 2:30 PM today, I spent most of my day stranded in the airport in Rankin Inlet.
Fortunately, the weather cleared in the late afternoon, allowing us to finally get to Baker Lake at 9:30 PM. The sky here is crystal clear and filled with stars, and there was a hot dinner waiting at the hotel when we arrived, so life is good. I'm a bit bummed that I missed my afternoon of photo taking, but at least I'm here. Clinic starts bright and early in the morning, so time to turn off the satellite tv and head to bed.
